Dental Block and Lip Augmentation Training
While our Foundation Dermal Fillers course provides delegates with the knowledge to carry out a treatment to the vermillion boarder of the lip, many practitioners feel that they would like to take this a step further and fulfill their client’s desire for a full lip enhancement. We understand that the discomfort experienced by the client during a lip treatment is the primary concern of many of our practitioners, and can make them hesitant to administer these treatments. This course is therefore designed to give practitioners the confidence and knowledge to administer full lip augmentations, along with specific training in administering nerve blocks.
The lip tuition will encompass carrying out a complete lip treatment to include contouring, volumising, creating symmetry, and re-balancing. It will also teach delegates to assess client’s lips on an individual basis, to manage client expectations and importantly, to know when to stop so that practitioners can avoid over filling.
Delegates will learn to use nerve block injections for facial rejuvenation, specifically lip augmentation. The theory aspect of the course will teach delegates about patient selection, contraindications, pain management, and record keeping, as well as the techniques required to administer the dental block.
Delegates will then have the opportunity to administer a dental block under supervision of one of our trainers, followed by a full lip treatment.
Delegates should be aware that they will require access to prescriptions for Lidocaine after the course. These are not currently available through Medics Direct.

A deposit of at least 50% of the cost of the course is required at the time of booking. A member of our team will contact you for payment. Full payment is required at least two weeks prior to the start of the course.
Please note cancellation charges apply. For courses cancelled 4 or more weeks in advance, a £50.00 charge applies. For courses cancelled between 2 and 4 weeks in advance, a charge of 50% of the full course fee will apply. For courses cancelled less than 2 weeks in advance, a charge of 100% of the full course fee will apply. Cancellation fees are applied as it is not often possible to re-book cancelled places at less than 1 months notice.
Courses not paid for in full at the time of booking may not be eligible for certain discounts.
