We run training courses throughout the UK. See our section on course dates or contact us for dates of introductory evenings and courses near you. After you have completed your training, you will be given the opportunity to access further supervision if you feel this is required (travel may be necessary to your nearest available mentor). We will help you to organise your medical cosmetics insurance and you can start immediately.

Any of our training courses could be the starting point for a Medical Cosmetics career but most practitioners find that the Botox and Dermal Fillers course forms the foundation of their practice and start there. From this point you can either broaden your range of treatments on offer by training in Skin Peels, Mesotherapy or Microsclerotherapy or enhance your Botox and Dermal Fillers techniques with our Advanced course.

You will also be able to move onto Mentoring and Teaching Medical Cosmetics.

We will work with you to find beauty salons, spas, and corporate clients that wish to provide medical cosmetics to clients, and employees. We will also promote you on our website and organise advertising/promotions and publicity. In addition, the salons and spas will promote you. All this is covered in our special business seminar.

No. A very lucrative medical cosmetics business can be developed using a combination of evidence-based products and techniques. No one product is essential.

It depends on how many clients you wish to treat and what you are treating them for. For each average client having 1ml of Dermal Filler, you would earn £145.00 from that treatment (suggested costs and profits are approximated and may vary depending on individual practitioner pricing/Salon fees etc.) A client having 3 areas of BOTOX® would earn you £150.00 (this is an approximate amount and is again inclusive of all costs). This money would be earned on average in about half an hour to an hour. On this basis you can see how lucrative a career in Medical Cosmetics can be.

You would be working on an independent basis, hosting your own clinics, and running and promoting your own business. You would be your own boss, but you will be able to call on all the facilities of Medics Direct.

The Medics Direct system provides full support and constant contact, if you want it, with the Medics Direct staff. Medics Direct social and educational events are organised on a regular basis.

Yes. Part of your course fee goes towards a business seminar directed towards finding and retaining clients. After this, we can provide you with promotional opportunities including having your clinics on our website. We can help you set goals and give you ongoing advice on the most effective ways of getting and keeping clients.
